Pearl Corrine Birzer, 93, died Nov. 28 at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell, Wyo. Born April 3, 1919 in Hoisington she was the daughter of Frank and Liva Della (Sharp) Eveleigh. On Aug. 11, 1943 she married Leonard Andrew Birzer in Great Bend. He died on July 29, 1995. A lifetime resident of Barton County, moving to Cody, Wyo. in 2007, she was a bookkeeper for Rice Engineering and retired in 1986 from the Great Bend Job Service Center.
