Fatality accident in Edwards County A fatal accident occurred at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 56, approximately two miles east of Kinsley. Kansas Highway Patrol reports an eastbound Peterbilt truck pulling a trailer, driven by Charles M. Kerth, 57, Salina, went off the highway, hitting a northbound Kenworth truck, also pulling a trailer, that was stopped at the stop sign on 110 Road. Kerth was pronounced dead at the scene.
