The Kansas Bureau of Investigation, assisted by the Great Bend Police Department, Barton County Sheriff’s Office and Ellinwood Police Department, executed three search warrants in the cities of Great Bend and Ellinwood on Thursday. Suspected methamphetamine, at least one weapon, and U.S. currency were seized, authorities reported. The search warrants were the result of a joint criminal investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine. All three warrants were executed without incident by a KBI High Risk ...
