Barton County Sheriff Theft of blank checks from a vehicle at 293 West Barton County Road was reported Thursday. A hit-and-run at 3730 Railroad Ave. was reported Thursday afternoon. Kansas Highway Patrol responded. Great Bend Police A Hoisington resident reported Thursday that several checks had been forged on his account. At least five thefts by forgery were reported.
