Paul D. Hazen, 88, died Dec. 20 at his home in Great Bend. He was born Nov. 13, 1924, at Odense, the son of George and Idella (Beggs) Hazen. He married Betty Lee Kempke Aug. 16, 1944, at the home of his parents at Erie. She died Nov. 1, 1996. He then married Helen Sanders Jan. 19, 2001, at Great Bend, where they made their home. He grew up in southeast Kansas, moving to Lorraine ...
