Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters checked a possible carbon monoxide problem at 2103 Monroe St. at 1:35 p.m. on Friday, but found nothing. They were dispatched to Long John Silver’s at 1:09 p.m. Saturday. There had been a small grease fire that was extinguished by staff before their arrival.
