Fight erupts at rural New Year’s party

The Barton County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a “big fight” with “lots of blood” in a shed outside a rural residence at 2:04 a.m. Tuesday. The reporting party, who refused to give a name, estimated more than 50 people were involved. Officers arrived but no fighting was going on.
