WICHITA — Elle Fischer, former resident, a Kansas farm girl, was born in Stafford County on Sept. 25, 1935. Throughout her life, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery which kept her spirit young and daring. Sadly, that journey ended on Dec. 31. She was a woman of conviction who never knew a stranger and established enduring friendships throughout the world, Kansas, and especially Wichita.
