EL DORADO — Irvin P. Burhenn, 85, El Dorado, died Jan. 4 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Born on Aug. 3, 1927 in Barton County, he was the son of Paul and Bertha (Langher) Burhenn. In 1945 he graduated from Great Bend High School. He served in the Army during the Korean War. On Jan. 30, 1952 he married Shirley Sisson at the Christian Church in Alva, Okla.
