	Heavy Equipment operators were busy Wednesday afternoon hauling away the remnants of the south parking lot at Great Bend Middle School. Soon, foundation work will begin on the new gymnasium, with a project completion date of Sept. 1, 2013. View Larger

Great Bend Middle School principal David Reiser sent notices out to parents on Tuesday, Jan. 8 advising them that construction of the new gymnasium and multipurpose room/storm safety shelter addition to the middle school located in the current south parking lot began Monday.
