OTIS – Maxine (Richardson) Bitter, 85, died Jan. 7, 2013 at her residence in Otis. She was born Oct. 24, 1927 at Hardy, Ark., the daughter of Marion and Charity (Brooks) Richardson. She married Willis “Gene” Bitter Aug. 25, 1957 at Otis. She worked various jobs in Barton County throughout her life. She was an Otis resident since 1948, coming from Hardy, Ark.
