Great Bend Police A vehicle driven by Carol Schemmer backed from a private drive on Seventh St. at 9:58 a.m. Tuesday and hit a parked vehicle. A vehicle driven by Colleen Hays was westbound on Third St. at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday and struck Manuel Mendez. Mendez was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital, where he was treated and released.
