The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rape that allegedly occurred over the weekend in a vehicle outside the bar at 206 North U.S. 281, north of Great Bend. A Great Bend man was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail, where he remains pending bail. As of Wednesday afternoon, no formal charges have been filed by the Barton County Attorney’s Office. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office received the report around 3:16 a.m. ...
