Sometime between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Nov. 9, a shed at 457 SE 20 Ave. was burglarized. Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings, speaking for Crime Stoppers of Barton County and Great Bend, said items stolen included a Lincoln-brand welder, Hitachi chop saw, Dewald grinder, kerosene heater, cutting torch and other shop equipment.
