MCPHERSON — Richard Henry Hinkson, 90, died Jan. 8 at McPherson Hospital. Born April 19, 1922 in Sylvan Grove, he was the son of Mildred (Murphy) and Fred S. Hinkson. He graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg and held graduate degrees from Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, and the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.
