LIEBENTHAL — Sylvester F. “Sonny” Urban, 82, died Jan. 23 at Locust Grove Village in La Crosse. Born Aug. 7, 1930, in rural Rush County, he was the son of Stephen S. and Paulina (Dater) Urban. In 1949 he graduated from Schoenchen High School. On June 2, 1956, he married Dorothy Ann Herrman at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Liebenthal. She preceded him in death on Nov. 23, 1978.
