EDMOND, Okla. — Michael James Smith, 66, of Edmond, Okla. passed away on Jan. 25. Born on Aug. 11, 1946 in Great Bend, he was the son of Steve and Gwendolyn Smith. On Aug. 18, 1967 he married Donna Saint. She died on Jan. 8, 2012. They had two children, David and Matthew. He was employed for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville, Okla. as a contract editor and writer.
