Legion Chili Cookoff scheduled Wednesday LARNED — The Larned American Legion, Walter S. Chears Post 106, will sponsor its annual Chili Cook-off Wednesday at 115 E. 7th. Entries must be submitted starting at 5 p.m. with judging at 6 p.m. There is no entry fee. Grand prize will be $100 with prizes also being awarded for second and third places. After the contest, chili will be available for $3. Refreshments and desserts will be provided ...
