Bloodmobile comes to Great Bend Monday

Severe winter weather across much of Kansas forced the cancellation of 50 American Red Cross blood drives, resulting in a shortfall of more than 1,600 blood and platelet donations through the Red Cross Central Plains Region. Now that the storm has passed, eligible donors are encouraged to give lifesaving blood and platelets to help offset the current shortfall and ensure a stable supply.
To help meet this need, there is a blood drive set for 11:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday at Great Bend’s St. Rose Auditorium, 1412 Baker St.
