Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Monday. They checked on a smoke smell at 2202 Kansas Ave. at 3:37 p.m., and an electrician was called to fix the problem. Great Bend Police There was a non-injury accident involving a city vehicle at 10:50 a.m. Monday at 1217 Williams St. Kansas Highway Patrol handled the report.
