Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Thursday, eight Friday, three Saturday and five Sunday.
There was a false alarm at 6:10 p.m. Thursday at 2100 10th St.
On Friday, firefighters performed a carbon monoxide check at 2521 Walnut Drive but found no CO; later they checked on a gas meter at 1201 Fourth St. that had been hit by a vehicle. Gas to that meter was shut off.
On Saturday they responded to a bomb threat at 4:04 p.m. at Walmart. Nothing was found.
There were no fire calls on Sunday.
