ALVIN, Texas — Beverly K. Fuhr (Tomlin), 72, resident of Alvin, Texas, passed away Aug. 18. She was born Feb. 14, 1938, in Great Bend, to parents Gerald R. Tomlin and Frances Whorton Tomlin. She attended Great Bend High School. She was baptized a Methodist in Kilgore, Texas. Beverly worked at the Great Bend Wal-Mart for 19 years, and also at the Great Bend Senior Center for five years.
