Mail boxes vandalized; burglary suspect "tazed"

Firefighters made eight Emergency Medical Service calls on Thursday and responded to a fire at 1300 Stone St.

Theft of services at the Highland Hotel, 3017 10th St., was reported Thursday.
Shoplifting at Walmart was reported. A woman was served with notice to appear in municipal court.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 1021 Eisenhower Ave.
Police were dispatched to 2215 18th St. at 1:14 a.m. Friday, where a woman reported Joseph Hood had kicked in her door and taken her dog. Hood was contacted and in the process ...
