​Winners of Congressional High School Arts Competition to be announced Saturday


RUSSELL — Entries are arriving at the Deines Cultural Center for the 2013 First Congressional High School Arts Competition. The winning “best of show” artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
The presentation of this year’s competition is hosted by The Deines Cultural Center, 820 N. Main in Russell.  Art work will be on display only between noon and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.  Awards will be given in each of seven categories and will be awarded by Congressman Tim Huelskamp at a reception at 2 p.m. that day, at the Center ...
