Kenneth D. “Ken” Williams, 74, died on April 13 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born Feb. 14, 1939 in Stephenville, Texas, he was the son of Myrl and Ruth (Onions) Williams. On Aug. 15, 1959 he married Nancy Giebler in Hays. She survives. Growing up in Liberal, he was a Great Bend resident since 1963, coming from Hays. He served as the C.F.O. for Central Kansas Medical Center for twenty years, retiring in 1988.  Following, he operated Abacus Accounting, serving as the interim C.F.O. and consultant for respective hospitals in Pratt, Abilene, McPherson, and Plainville.  He ...
