Top seeds North Carolina, Vandy facing elimination

North Carolina and Vanderbilt were cruising along in the NCAA baseball tournament, looking every bit like the top two national seeds.

Now, they're suddenly facing elimination.

North Carolina, No. 1 overall, was stunned by Florida Atlantic 3-2 on Sunday night when Ricky Santiago hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning. The teams meet Monday night to determine the regional title.
