Quicksilver wins title at own tournament

After Saturday’s Amateur Softball Association VIP Series Great Bend Tournament ended, five teams walked away with titles, each representing one of the age divisions at the all-day event held at the Great Bend Sports Complex.
The Quicksilver Softball Club had four teams in the tournament, including two in championship games.
The 16-and-under Quicksilver went 5-0 and beat the Larned Renegades 8-0 to seize the title in their age division.
In the 14-and-under division, the Great Bend Rebels shut down the Larned Renegades 8-0 for the title. The Rebels, who have qualified for the ASA World Series in Kansas City ...
