Chiefs start run of doubleheaders tonight, host Dodge City

The Great Bend Chiefs will be playing host to one of their final two home Class AAA American Legion doubleheaders tonight as they take on Dodge City. Action starts at 6 at the Great Bend Sports Complex.
The home turf will be a welcome sight for the Chiefs, who are on a six-game losing streak after sweeping a doubleheader from the Salina Falcons on June 26. They went 0-4 in pool play at the Kansas Grand Slam Wood Bat Tournament over the weekend in Salina.
