Burglary suspects arrested

A citizen who thought he or she was seeing a burglary in progress contacted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night, resulting in two arrests. Sheriff Brian Bellendir said a stolen propane cylinder was recovered.
The citizen called 911 between 8 and 9 p.m. Tuesday. Detective Sharon Wondra responded and located the suspects and a vehicle on U.S. 281, just north of Great Bend. The suspects drove off but were stopped by detectives and deputies in the city of Great Bend. Mark Miller and Robert Streiner, both of Great Bend, were arrested ...
