Two Great Bend residents were arrested Friday morning after Barton County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed four search warrants, Sheriff Brian Bellendir said.
 Beginning at about 10:31 a.m., sheriff’s officers visited various locations in Great Bend. The focus of the warrants was at the address of 340 Heizer St. in the city of Great Bend.
Bellendir said the Sheriff’s Office had obtained a search warrant to allow for recovery of stolen property. Upon entering the residence Sheriff’s officers observed drug paraphernalia and suspected drugs in plain view. Another search warrant was obtained for the drugs ...
