Speaker and author, Ward Foley, to speak

HOISINGTON —Ward Foley was born with multiple birth defects; Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenital (AMC), club hands and feet, severely injured by a drunk driver, beaten by troubled teens he was trying to help, and plunging his hands into a 400-degree fryer Foley could have become embittered. But Ward Foley is anything but a bitter man. He will speak at 3 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Hoisington High School.
He focuses on what he can do, not on what he can’t do. And without a doubt, his natural wit and delightful humor helped him in school deal with being different ...
