Oil well production incorrectly reported

In the Barton County Commission story that appeared in the Tuesday, Sept. 17, issue of the Great Bend Tribune, it was incorrectly reported that an oil well on land owned by the Reed family produced 42,000 barrels of oil per year since it was drilled in 2007. In fact, it has produced a total of 42,000 barrels in that span. The Tribune regrets the error.
