Beginning Farmer/Rancher call to focus on pricing and selling in local food markets

The Kansas Rural Center invites beginning farmers and ranchers searching for information on pricing and selling in local food markets to join a teleconference call at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 26,
The call will be moderated by Julie Mettenburg, Executive Director of the Kansas Rural Center, who brings experience in marketing grass-finished beef and other meats from her family’s operation in Franklin County. Also joining the call will be producers with experience in fruits and vegetables, and value-added products. They will be available to share information, resources and ideas.
