Lady Panthers win Dodge City invite

DODGE CITY — The Great Bend High School singles players led the Lady Panthers in tennis action at the Dodge City Invitational on Thursday evening.
Both No. 1 singles player Macy Moyers and No. 2 singles player Brianna Schartz won their divisions as the Lady Panthers won the invite with 24 points.
“Overall, we played pretty well,” Great Bend head coach Shannon Schartz said. “Our doubles weren’t at their best today, but our singles played very well.”
Garden City also finished with 24 points, but Great Bend beat its Western Athletic Conference opponent head-to-head for the tiebreaker.
