Coats ready for giveaway

After weeks of collecting coats, Trinity United Methodist Church is ready to conclude its Community Coat Redistribution project.
Anyone who wants a free used coat may come to the church at Broadway and Patton Road on Saturday, Sept. 28, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Everyone will be welcome, said Karla Essmiller with the church missions committee.
There are no income requirements and this is not a need-based program, Essmiller said. No questions will be asked.
