Lady Cougars move to 8-0 in KJCCC play

The No. 16-ranked Barton Community College women’s soccer team took care of business on Sunday at the Cougar Soccer Complex, scoring four second-half goals in defeating Neosho County 5-1.
With the win, Barton improves to 8-2 overall and 8-0 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play, while dropping Neosho to 2-7-1, 1-5-1.
Bianca Barron gave the Lady Cougars a lead midway through the first half, taking the back end of a give-and-go with Catlin Simon to easily beat the Neosho keeper from short-range distance.
