Library Book Sale opens to public Oct. 20

Join 'Friends' group for early bird sale

The 2013 Public Library Books Sale will be open to the public Oct. 20-22 in the basement meeting room of the Library located at 1400 Williams in Great Bend. Hours for the sale are: Sunday, 1-4:30 p.m.; Monday, noon to 8:30 p.m., and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Prices are set at $1 for hardback books and 50 cents for paperbacks.
Friends spokesman Carol Woodmansee said this sale promises to be the largest ever. There will be books for children, youth, and adults; both paperback and hard cover; all genres of  fiction ...
