Panthers ease past Wichita Heights

The Great Bend High School boys’ soccer team cruised to a 4-1 win over Wichita Height on Thursday evening at Cavanaugh Fields.
The Panthers improve to 5-9 on the season.
“It was a good game, especially the way we played,” GBHS head coach Gus Prieto said. “We played more as a team. We played a little slow today, but we played as a team. I’m happy to see that.”
The Panthers jumped ahead early, leading 2-0 at halftime.
Rafael Arias punched in the first goal for Great Bend on a penalty kick.
