GBHS Debate competes in Buhler

On Oct. 19, the Great Bend High School Debate team competed in the Buhler Invitational Debate tournament. They had five teams contribute to an overall placing of 3rd in sweepstakes and two medals with a 1st place finish in the varsity division.
In the varsity division, Michael Gieck and Kameko Schultz placed 1st out of 34 teams with a 5-0 win/loss record. Schultz stated “It was a goal for my partner and I to have a perfect record and take first place, and I am proud to say we accomplished that at this tournament.” Kane Schumacher and Jordan Stoulil ...
