BCC artists do well at Russell exhibit

Barton Art Instructor Steve Dudek took first place in the watercolor division with his painting titled “Frogs” at the annual Russell Original Art Review Exhibition, Oct. 11-13.

RUSSELL — Artists at Barton Community College got a chance to showcase their talents at the annual Russell Original Art Review Exhibition at the Russell 4-H Building. The show ran Oct. 11-13 and several Barton students received awards.
The show had 235 entries from 83 artists from 27 cities.  BCC art instructor Steve Dudek took first place in the professional watercolor category and Barton Student Life Director Diane Engle earned honorable mention in the same category.
