Lady Cougars overcome early deficit against Kansas Wesleyan JV

SALINA — The Barton Community College women’s basketball team had to overcome something it hadn’t faced this season on Saturday afternoon at the Brown Mackie Classic — a halftime deficit.
The Lady Cougars had been living the high life through their first four games of the season, but found themselves trailing 33-27 at intermission against the Kansas Wesleyan JV.
Barton responded with 46 points in the second half to win 73-56.
