Central Plains Middle School receives grant

BUSHTON —Central Plains Middle School has received a Power Up Grant from Kansas Team Nutrition.  Kansas Team Nutrition said, “(The CPMS) grant will include an 8-week health education program for middle school students (in eighth grade.) This program will be to equip students with the knowledge to make healthier choices by encouraging consumption of healthy foods, supporting regular physical activity, teaching students to make their own healthy snacks, and building healthy self-esteem.”
