“Quilts of Valor” are heirloom quilts sewn with comforting and healing hands to show their compassion for our veterans who have served our country valiantly and with great hardship to themselves but only thinking of their country and how they can best serve. Presenting the “Quilts of Valor,” on Veterans Day was the local representative, Sandra Vink of Great Bend, assisted by Helen Hullman of St. John and Shannon Royer of Otis.
