Great Bend office to offer driver licensing services five days a week

Starting Monday, the Great Bend driver licensing office will be open five days a week.
The office, located in the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main St., Room 207, will be open 7 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Drive and written testing will not be offered after 3 p.m.
State driver licensing offices switched to four-day work weeks in 1984.
“While those hours worked thirty years ago, moving to a five-day work week helps us better meet the needs of our customers today,” said Vehicles Director Lisa Kaspar.
