Two burglary suspects arrested

Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir said two Great Bend residents were arrested Monday on burglary charges.
Mark A. Miller, 42, was booked on charges of burglary, driving while suspended, no current registration and no proof of insurance, with bond set at $20,000. JoAnne Sawyer, 40, was booked on charges of burglary and resisting arrest, also in lieu of $20,000 bond.
The arrests came shortly after 4:20 p.m., as Deputy Sheriff Kyle Reed was on active patrol in the western part of Barton County. Bellendir said the deputy observed a suspicious vehicle parked near an unoccupied farmstead ...
