Scouts use their noodles to make dough

Great Bend Boy Scouts spent most of the day Saturday making noodles for their 43rd annual Chili and Chicken Noodle Soup Dinner, set for Feb. 2 at the Elks Lodge.
The work got underway at 9 a.m. and continued well into the afternoon. Scoutmaster Kenton Abbott said the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Troop and Pack 184 started with 40 dozen eggs and 200 pounds of flour. The assembly line moved from the kitchen, where dough was mixed, to tables where it was rolled to the desired thickness, to pasta cutters, where the dough was turned into noodles ...
