Barton County 4-H starts shooting sports season with two matches

The 2014 4-H Shooting Sports season has started. The Barton County 4-H Air Rifle Program has been represented at two matches already this season.
The 4-H’ers started in the Air Rifle project in October and worked through mid-December. They learned the parts of the rifle, firearm safety and several different shooting positions. In January, the kid’s starting learning match rules and practicing hard.
