Team effort leads Lady Panthers over Buhler

BUHLER — There was no sluggish start this time for the Great Bend High School girls’ basketball team.
The Lady Panthers scored 25 points in the first quarter on their way to a 74-68 victory over Buhler on Tuesday night.
“The girls got off to a great start,” GBHS head coach Carrie Minton said. “They played really tough defense and got after the ball. We pushed the tempo a bit.”
Buhler came out in a zone defense that Great Bend immediately went to work against.
