Defensive Driving course offered at Activity Center

The course “Defensive Driving” will be offered from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 17-18, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. Participants must register by noon Friday, Feb. 14, at the Great Bend Recreation Commission office, 2114 Stone St., or by calling 793-3755 ext. 2.
The class is sponsored by GBRC, Commission on Aging and Barton County Farm Bureau, and will be taught by Kansas Highway Patrolman Steve Billinger.  After students attend this course, most insurance companies will lower premiums for participants that receive certificates at the end of the class.
