GBHS hires Crough as new football coach

Great Bend High School has officially hired a new head football coach.
Tony Crough, the Panthers’ defensive coordinator has been hired to pick up the mantle left behind by Bo Black.
Crough was the right fit, according to GBHS Athletic Director David Meter.
“He’s been around for years, so he knows what it’s all about,” Meter said. “But he hasn’t been around for too long, so he wasn’t part of the old group in that he’s got some different ideas.”
